- solvers for equations of Helmholtz type. You can download the code HelmPole developed at the ZIB. HelmPole solves scattering problems in the two dimensional space for unbounded domains, with potentially heterogenous exterior. Currently I'm working on a domain decomposition algorithms for equations of Helmholtz type.
- transparent boundary conditions for scattering problems, cf. the project page D9 Design of nano-photonic devices at the DFG Research Center MATHEON.
- Volterra integral equations of convolution type.
In 2002 I received my doctoral degree from the mathematical department of the Universität Tübingen.
