Applied Mathematics Group

of the Mathematical Institute of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.



Our research is mainly focused on numerical mathematics. We are interested in the numerical solution of time dependent ordinary and partial differential equations, numerical linear algebra, and numerical methods for image processing.

We participate in the Graduate Research School Evolutionary Networks: Organisms, Reactions, Molecules (E-Norm)

We offer projects for highschools and cooperate with local industrial partners in different fields of applied mathematics.
